Jakobstads Båtvarv (Jakobstad Boatyard), the oldest wooden boat yard in Finland, was established in 1904. Exclusive classic wooden boats are still being crafted in the original waterfront workshops, today with use of some modern techniques. This makes them durable and easily maintained. Our boats are built with practical elegant design and beautiful craftmanship. We stand for high quality trough the buildingprocess, from choice of wood, construction, build and finishing. The craftmanship is given the time needed for soulful wooden beauties to be born. The boat yard is situated at the beautiful old harbour in Jakobstad, Finland.
